When I started this project, we were facing the first 2020 global lockdown. My usage of social platforms skyrocketed. I started to collect re-appearing words and sentences that showed up in the newsfeed of my different social media accounts, as well as gathering my own thoughts, questions, fears and feelings in a notebook. My constant existential anxiety seemed to be in tune with what the visible world being watched through my screen was feeling. The constant murmur of questions playing on repeat in my head blended in the state of collective uncertainty, as we all merged in a global state of hold that appear to have come from a sci-fi movie.
